  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Susan -- Perceptive Invitation to recognize and to practice peace skills : On rereading: I love the suggestion of skills to practice for peace and the invitation to try each: hope, grief, listening, connection, conflict, repairing, reclaiming truth, internal disarmament, and courage. After reading See No Stranger by Valarie Kaur--and loving it--I came back to this pamphlet with renewed respect. These two authors open so many doors to productive engagement. Ideas of how to practice differ, styles of narration differ--but both authors raise enthusiasm for the effort involved. This pamphlet by Pamela Haines renewed my determination to persist.
